This agreement shall remain in effect for any current or future animals in Foster’s care on behalf of Demo Animal Rescue. The parties hereby agree to the following:

Foster shall accept and consider the animal as a household companion, not as an outside pet, and will provide the animal with a safe environment (indoor and outdoor), humane treatment, and provide proper food, fresh water, shelter, medication (when required), proper exercise and socialization.
Animal shall be allowed to sleep indoors and protected from the elements or adverse conditions. Animal shall not be housed or kept outside or in a yard. The Animal shall not be allowed to roam free or unsupervised outside.
Foster shall immediately notify Demo Animal Rescue if animal is lost or stolen, and shall make every reasonable effort to recover the animal.
Foster shall not give up or sell the animal to another person, relative, friend, or any other individual, or any rescue group, humane association, shelter, or adoption center unless pre-approved by Demo Animal Rescue.
Foster permits Demo Animal Rescue to visit at reasonable convenient times to check on the wellbeing of the animal.
Foster shall schedule vet appointments using one of the approved veterinary partners through Demo Animal Rescue unless instructed by Demo Animal Rescue. Foster is responsible for payment if vet appointment or services rendered on the animal is not pre-approved by Demo Animal Rescue.
Foster should notify Demo Animal Rescue about supplies or food needed and it will be provided to foster or reimbursed. If foster voluntarily chooses to purchase something with his or her own money, foster should save the receipt as these expenses are tax deductible. Purchases made voluntarily by foster are not reimbursed by Demo Animal Rescue.
Foster shall allow a reasonable amount of time for the animal to adjust to new surroundings.
Foster understands the commitment he or she is making by agreeing to foster the animal and that there is no definitive time period. Foster understands it may take weeks or possibly longer for the animal to be adopted.
Foster understands that during the foster period, Demo Animal Rescue has ownership of the animal. Demo Animal Rescue may retrieve the animal from foster at any time during the foster period.
Demo Animal Rescue makes no guarantees and/or promises regarding the animal’s disposition, temperament, and/or future health and personality.
Foster agrees to foster at his or her own risk, and indemnify and release Demo Animal Rescue, its founder, board of directors, and volunteers of any and all liability arising from damages to person(s) or property caused by the animal.

In the event the Foster does not comply with the terms of this agreement, at the reasonable discretion of Demo Animal Rescue, Demo Animal Rescue may retrieve the pet. Promptly upon demand by Demo Animal Rescue, the Foster shall relinquish animal to Demo Animal Rescue.

The Foster hereby acknowledges that they have read all of this agreement supplied by Demo Animal Rescue.
